Azienda Agricola Luigi Vico

Azienda Agricola Luigi Vico was officially established in Serralunga d’Alba in 2016, though the family’s connection to the area reaches much further back. Records of the maternal Pira branch’s landholdings in Serralunga appear in the municipal land registry as early as 1694, reflecting generations of work with vineyards and orchards.

The estate is closely tied to the Barolo landscape and to Nebbiolo, with vineyards including Prapò in Serralunga d’Alba. Farming is organic and the cellar approach is designed to highlight terroir, using cement for fermentation and large-format woods from Fontainebleau and Slavonia for Barolo, while other wines are handled in steel, barriques and tonneaux according to style.
