Bernard Magrez does not really do small ambitions. The Bordeaux entrepreneur is the sole owner of four Grands Crus Classés — Château Pape Clément, Château La Tour Carnet, Château Fombrauge and Clos Haut-Peyraguey — and his wine world now stretches across 42 vineyards in nine countries.

The fun part is the range. One minute you’re in serious Bordeaux territory; the next you’re pouring Bleu de Mer rosé by the pool. Different estates, different moods, one house tying them together.
