TEMPOS Vega Sicilia

TEMPOS Vega Sicilia is the Álvarez family wine group built around Vega Sicilia, the historic Ribera del Duero estate acquired by the family in 1982. From that foundation, the group expanded into a collection of distinct wineries united by the same long-term approach to quality, patience and place.

Today the TEMPOS family includes Bodegas Vega Sicilia, Alión, Pintia, Macán — the Rioja project created with Benjamin de Rothschild — and Tokaj-Oremus in Hungary. Each winery keeps its own identity and terroir while sharing the group’s emphasis on careful vineyard work, precise winemaking and time as a defining ingredient.

Within Ribera del Duero, Vega Sicilia remains the historic heart of the group, with Único and Valbuena 5º representing its classic style, while Alión offers a more modern expression from the same region.
