Ornellaia – Masseto
Ornellaia and Masseto are two distinct Bolgheri wine identities managed side by side within the Ornellaia e Masseto organization. Ornellaia was founded in 1981 and built its reputation around Bolgheri DOC Superiore, while Masseto developed as a singular Merlot-focused estate with its own vineyards and identity.
Because the two estates share an operating umbrella while remaining separate wines, InBodega groups them here as Ornellaia – Masseto. Each bottle keeps its estate name and vintage, while the producer page gives us one durable home for both families of wines.
