Domaine Jean-Michel Gaunoux

Domaine Jean-Michel Gaunoux is a family estate based in Meursault in the Côte de Beaune. Jean-Michel established the domaine in 1990 after working alongside his father, François Gaunoux, and today he works with his son Henri, who joined the family estate after completing his oenology studies.

The domaine farms about 6 hectares across Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Volnay and Pommard. In Meursault, its holdings include three Premier Cru sites: Perrières, Genevrières and Les Gouttes d’Or.

Vineyard work is focused on restrained yields through short pruning and green harvesting. In the cellar, the wines are raised with a limited proportion of new oak—generally no more than 30%—and are bottled without fining or filtration, preserving a traditional, site-focused style.
