Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet
Domaine Ramonet was founded in Chassagne-Montrachet in the late 1920s by Pierre Ramonet. The family estate is now led by third-generation Jean-Claude Ramonet, with his daughters Anne-France and Clarisse working alongside him.
The domaine farms about 17 hectares across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Bouzeron and Pernand-Vergelesses, with production divided roughly 70% white and 30% red. Its holdings span village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards, including Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet and long-held parcels such as Les Ruchottes.
Vineyard work follows a sustainable approach with soil cultivation and controlled yields, and harvest is carried out by hand. Vinification is traditional, with the wines aged in oak barrels for approximately 12 to 18 months depending on the appellation.
