Domaine Christian Moreau Père & Fils

Domaine Christian Moreau Père & Fils is a six-generation family estate in Chablis. The modern domaine was established in 2001, with Fabien Moreau taking the lead and producing the first bottled vintage in 2002.

The family farms about 12 hectares in the heart of Chablis, including Grand Cru parcels in Les Clos, Valmur, Vaudésir and Blanchot, along with Chablis Premier Cru Vaillon, Chablis and Petit Chablis. Clos des Hospices, within Les Clos, has remained a Moreau family exclusivity since the parcel was acquired from the Hospices de Chablis in 1904.

All grapes are harvested by hand, and the estate has been certified organic by Ecocert since the 2013 vintage. Vineyard and cellar work are focused on preserving the character of each site, with parcel-by-parcel vinification and a restrained approach designed to keep Chablis terroir at the center of the wines.
