Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux

Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux was founded in Vosne-Romanée in 1858 and remains a family estate today. Florence Arnoux-Lachaux leads the domaine with her eldest son Charles Lachaux, continuing a lineage that has worked the Côte de Nuits for generations.

Since joining the estate in 2011, Charles has pushed the vineyard work toward regenerative farming, eco-grazing, biodynamics, gobelet pruning, high trellising and an end to hedging. Whole-cluster vinification has been used since 2012, with short macerations and a deliberately low-intervention approach in the cellar.

The domaine’s identity is built around Pinot Noir and some of the Côte de Nuits’ most distinctive terroirs, from Vosne-Romanée to Échézeaux, Romanée-Saint-Vivant and Latricières-Chambertin. The aim is not polish for its own sake, but wines that carry the energy and individuality of each site.
