Dolum Estates

Dolum Estates was created to make limited quantities of premium California red wines with a strong sense of place. The producer sources from select sites in Napa Valley and Sonoma County, with a particular focus on Cabernet Sauvignon from distinctive sub-appellations.

Its vineyard program includes fruit from Oakville and other Napa Valley districts, as well as a low-yielding Oakville Crossroad vineyard originally planted in 1979. Dolum describes its approach around site expression, balanced structure and traditional maturation in French oak.

The house was built around winemaker Chad Alexander’s philosophy of vine balance and precision, and today continues that focus on refined, site-driven Cabernet. At InBodega, the Dolum wines are grouped together under the estate while each Cask bottling keeps its own vineyard and regional identity.
