Château Climens is a historic Barsac estate whose name first appears in a document from 1547, beginning a remarkably continuous story shaped by only a handful of families across nearly five centuries.

Recognized as a Premier Cru in the 1855 classification, Climens has built its identity around purity, precision and the patient expression of Sémillon, with a long-standing commitment to biodynamic viticulture.

The 31-hectare vineyard lies on Barsac’s distinctive red sands over fissured limestone, a geological combination that brings freshness, finesse and lift to wines made entirely from Sémillon.
