Bodegas Mureda

Bodegas Mureda is a family-owned winery in Castilla-La Mancha, situated between Manzanares and Valdepeñas in the province of Ciudad Real. Its modern winery was completed in 2009, supporting a project built around estate farming and large-scale organic viticulture.

The estate manages extensive certified-organic vineyards across areas including Campo de Montiel, Campo de Calatrava and the Sierra de Alcaraz. Elevations range from the lower plains near Valdepeñas to much higher sites toward Alcaraz, allowing the winery to work with both traditional varieties such as Tempranillo and Garnacha and international grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Chardonnay.

Mureda’s approach combines vineyard scale with a strong environmental focus. The winery has invested in solar energy, rainwater collection and modern cellar equipment while keeping its identity centered on organically farmed fruit and the continental conditions of Castilla-La Mancha.
