Bodegas Hacienda Solano

Bodegas Hacienda Solano is a small estate in La Aguilera, Burgos, founded in 2001 by siblings Nuria, Agustín and Estrella Cubillo. Toni Sarrión joined the project in 2016, bringing the same focus on place and restrained winemaking that defines his work elsewhere while keeping Hacienda Solano rooted in the vineyards of La Aguilera.

The winery works with old-vine Tinto Fino across many small parcels, with a small amount of Albillo appearing in some of the oldest vineyards. La Aguilera’s contrasting limestone-and-sandstone soils and lower clay-and-siliceous sites give the estate a clear framework for parcel-by-parcel farming and vinification, with sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention central to the approach.

Hacienda Solano’s identity is built around old vines, detailed parcel work and a restrained interpretation of Ribera del Duero, allowing differences in site and vine age to remain visible in the finished wines.
