Bodegas Díscolo

Bodegas Díscolo is a small organic and sustainable winery in the D.O. Toro, created in 2008 with the goal of making wines with a distinct sense of place and personality.

Since 2015, the winery has produced certified organic wines, while describing its vineyard management as even more demanding than the minimum organic standards. Today it works six vineyard parcels totaling 20.5 hectares, planted to Tinta de Toro vines between roughly 40 and 95 years old.

The wines are made in the winery’s small cellar in El Pego, Zamora. Across the range, the emphasis is on Tinta de Toro, careful vineyard work and wines that express the character of the Toro landscape, from the approachable Cinco de Copas to the more concentrated El Magnífico.
