Bodegas Campo Elíseo

Bodegas Campo Elíseo is a Spanish project spanning two of Castilla y León’s distinctive denominations: Rueda and Toro. Today it is led by François Lurton, fourth generation of a Bordeaux winegrowing family, with the estate focused on expressing Verdejo in Rueda and Tinta de Toro in Toro through precise, site-driven winemaking.

In La Seca, Campo Elíseo has worked since 2016 from a historic manor house whose underground galleries lie roughly ten meters below the village. Those naturally cool cellars are used for fermentation and aging, while the winery’s Toro operation handles the estate’s red-wine program. The vineyards have been farmed organically from the beginning, with full organic certification achieved in 2018.

Campo Elíseo’s identity connects two very different Castilian landscapes through organic farming, careful cellar work and a focus on the regional grapes that define Rueda and Toro.
