Carignan / Mazuelo
Carignan, called Mazuelo or Cariñena in much of Spain, is a Mediterranean red with dark berries, herbs, bright acidity, and firm structure. Old vines can give it serious depth, while regional names such as Samsó and Carignano reflect the same grape.
