Following the devastating frost losses of 2016, the 2017 growing season brought relief to Burgundy producers with healthy yields and excellent fruit quality. Warm summer conditions and well-timed rainfall allowed for complete ripening while preserving freshness and acidity. Domaine Leflaive harvested Clavoillon beginning in late August, producing a wine that beautifully captures the vineyard’s hallmark combination of finesse, energy, and terroir transparency.
