After a cold and wet winter and spring, ideal flowering conditions arrived in June before an unsettled August tested the vintage. Fortunately, warm and sunny September weather allowed the fruit to ripen slowly and evenly. The resulting wine displays impressive concentration and structure while retaining the freshness and balance that are hallmarks of great Clos de Tart.
