Roberto Voerzio

Roberto Voerzio founded his winery in 1986 in La Morra, in the heart of the Langhe. From the beginning, the estate has remained family-run and centered on vineyards in La Morra and Barolo, with a particular focus on historic Barolo crus.

The farming is deliberately low-yield and hands-on. The estate describes short winter pruning, two rounds of green harvesting, manual fertilization with manure or humus, and no chemical fertilizers or herbicides. In the cellar, fermentations are spontaneous, the wines are not filtered, and the aim is to let each vineyard speak as clearly as possible.

The result is a cru-driven Barolo estate where vineyard names matter enormously, and where low yields, manual work and minimal cellar intervention are all used in service of site expression.
