Domaine Tempier

Domaine Tempier is a historic family estate in Bandol, Provence, whose modern identity was shaped by Lucien and Lucie “Lulu” Peyraud after they settled at the property in 1940. Their work helped establish Mourvèdre as a defining grape of Bandol and strengthen the appellation’s reputation for age-worthy wines.

The domaine cultivates a mosaic of sites around Le Plan du Castellet and the surrounding hills, where varied soils, exposures and Mediterranean influences give each parcel its own character. Its vineyard and cellar practices aim to express these distinctions through wines of structure, freshness and finesse.

Alongside its classic Bandol wines, Domaine Tempier is known for distinctive terroir cuvées including La Migoua, La Tourtine and Cabassaou. These vineyard expressions reflect the estate’s longstanding commitment to site-specific winemaking across its red, rosé and white wines.
