Benjamin Leroux

Benjamin Leroux is a Beaune-born winemaker who founded his own Burgundy project in 2007 after years of training in Burgundy and abroad and fifteen vintages at Domaine Comte Armand. Without inherited family vineyards, he built the estate through long-term relationships with growers and, over time, through his own parcels, with a focus on expressing the individual character of Burgundy’s vineyards.

His work begins in the vineyard, emphasizing living soils, organic farming, cover crops, limited plowing and hand harvesting. In the cellar, each lot is handled according to the vintage and site, using gentle pressing and a mix of traditional Burgundian barrels, larger casks, amphorae and other vessels chosen to preserve rather than mask terroir.
