The 2021 growing season was one of the most challenging in recent Burgundy history. Severe spring frosts caused significant losses throughout the region, followed by a cool and humid growing season that increased pressure from mildew and other vineyard diseases. Despite these difficulties, careful vineyard management and a late September harvest produced fruit with excellent balance, freshness, and maturity. The resulting wine captures the tension, elegance, and terroir expression that define Puligny-Montrachet.
