The 2016 growing season was defined by devastating spring frosts that dramatically reduced yields throughout Burgundy. Domaine Leflaive saw losses ranging from 20% to 80% depending on the vineyard, while some Grand Cru parcels suffered even greater damage. Fortunately, warm and stable weather from late June through harvest allowed the remaining fruit to ripen beautifully, resulting in wines of remarkable concentration, freshness, and precision.
