Domaine de MasLauris Le N Blanc 2023 – Organic Vermentino from Luberon, France
Domaine de MasLauris Le N Blanc 2023 – Provencal Precision in a Glass
No Oak. No Noise. Just Pure Luberon Radiance.
Meet the 2023 Le N Blanc, the white wine that proves silence can be louder than words. Crafted in minuscule quantities by François-Xavier Nicol—the engineer-turned-winemaker behind Domaine de MasLauris—this wine is a study in restraint, tension, and absolute clarity. Made from a near-nerdy dedication to organic viticulture and minimalist winemaking, Le N Blanc is not trying to be flashy—it’s just effortlessly good.
The 2023 vintage? Zingy, mineral, and dialed-in like a high-wire act over a limestone canyon. This is Luberon’s white lightning, bottled.
🍇 Winemaking & Background
Founded in 2010, Domaine de MasLauris is one of Luberon’s most compelling small estates, known for its sustainable farming, no-added-sulfites bottlings, and a low-intervention approach that lets the grapes—and the terroir—do all the talking. "Le N" is their micro-cuvée, released only when everything aligns in the vineyard.
The 2023 Le N Blanc is made primarily from Vermentino (Rolle) with a touch of Grenache Blanc—grown on limestone-clay soils at altitude. Stainless steel vinification. No oak. No artifice.
💬 Critic Review
🏅 92 Points – Bettane+Desseauve
“Crystalline white from the Luberon. Citrus peel, white peach, and crushed stone lead to a laser-cut palate. Bright, clean, and shockingly precise.”
