Under the direction of Ángel Anocíbar, Valdebellón has become one of Spain’s benchmark single-vineyard Cabs. Anocíbar treats each pago like its own sovereign country—isolated, respected, and vinified with monk-like detail. This plot, sitting above 800 meters, produces low-yield fruit with dense aromatics and natural acidity. It’s as “Grand Cru” as Spain gets.
