Only made in top vintages and in ultra-limited quantities, this cuvée is one of the crown jewels of the estate’s terroir-first philosophy, under the direction of legendary winemaker Ángel Anocíbar.

Trained in Bordeaux and steeped in Burgundian precision, Ángel Anocíbar has led Abadía Retuerta since the 1990s. With a PhD in oenology and a background in microbiology, he’s the architect behind the estate’s rise to cult status. Every vineyard is vinified separately, with gravity-fed systems, native yeasts, and a monk-like devotion to purity.
