Gaja
Gaja has been rooted in Barbaresco since 1859, and five generations later the family is still one of the names that makes Nebbiolo people lose all sense of restraint. The estate helped push Barbaresco onto the world stage while building a reputation for wines that are polished, precise, and very much made for the long game.
Angelo Gaja became famous for challenging convention without abandoning Piedmont: single-vineyard bottlings, tighter vineyard work, and a willingness to rethink cellar practices while keeping the region’s identity front and center. Today the family works across Barbaresco and Barolo, with some of the most recognizable vineyards in the Langhe.
Our Gaja shelf is unapologetically collector territory: Barbaresco across multiple vintages, Costa Russi, Sorì Tildìn, Sorì San Lorenzo, and Sperss. Serious bottles, serious history, absolutely no rush to open them.
