Fontodi

Fontodi is the Manetti family estate in Panzano in Chianti, in the Conca d’Oro at the heart of Chianti Classico. The family has owned Fontodi since 1968, building the estate around a close study of Sangiovese and the character of this particular valley.

The property is certified organic, and all Fontodi wines are made from estate-grown grapes that are hand harvested and carefully selected. Vinification and ageing take place in a gravity-fed cellar designed to handle the fruit as gently as possible and preserve the identity of the vineyards.

Fontodi’s portfolio includes Chianti Classico, Vigna del Sorbo, Filetta di Lamole, Case Via, Meriggio and the estate’s flagship Flaccianello della Pieve.
