Emilio Moro

Emilio Moro is a four-generation winegrowing family rooted in Pesquera de Duero, where the family’s connection to vineyards reaches back more than a century. The modern Bodegas Emilio Moro was founded in 1987, and in 1989 the family produced its first vintage under the Ribera del Duero D.O., joining the modern history of one of Spain’s defining wine regions.

Tempranillo is at the heart of the family’s work in Ribera del Duero, where long-held vineyards and deep knowledge of individual sites shape the estate’s identity. The family also works in Bierzo with Godello, extending the same vineyard-focused philosophy into a very different landscape and climate.

Today, the third and fourth generations continue to lead the winery around three enduring ideas: tradition, innovation and social responsibility. Across both Ribera del Duero and Bierzo, the producer’s identity remains centered on vineyard knowledge, family continuity and a close relationship with the land.
