Emidio Pepe

Emidio Pepe founded his namesake winery in 1964 in Torano Nuovo, in northern Abruzzo, building on his family's longstanding ties to farming and winemaking. The estate became known for a patient, uncompromising approach to traditional local grape varieties and for wines capable of developing over decades.

The vineyards are cultivated with close attention to the health of the soil and vines, while cellar practices emphasize minimal intervention. Hand harvesting, traditional methods of working with grapes, and careful bottling reflect a philosophy of preserving fruit character and the identity of the estate's place in Abruzzo.
