Domaine Vincent Dauvissat

Domaine Vincent Dauvissat is one of Chablis’s longstanding family estates, with roots reaching back to Robert Dauvissat’s work in the 1930s. René and Madeleine Dauvissat expanded the domaine from 1950, and Vincent Dauvissat took over after his parents retired in 1989.

The domaine now works about 12 hectares across the Chablis hierarchy, including Grand Cru parcels in Les Clos and Les Preuses and Premier Cru holdings such as La Forest, Vaillons and Séchet. The vineyards are closely associated with Chablis’s Kimmeridgian limestone and marl, and the domaine has used biodynamic methods since 2002 without pursuing certification.

From La Forest and Vaillons to Les Preuses and Les Clos, the domaine’s identity is built around Chablis’s individual climats and the contrast between Premier and Grand Cru expressions of the same limestone landscape.
