Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair

Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair is based in Nuits-Saint-Georges and was created in 2001, when Thibault Liger-Belair took over the cultivation of family vineyards whose history in Burgundy stretches back centuries. The estate descends from the Marey and Liger-Belair family wine businesses that played an important role in Burgundy’s viticultural and merchant history.

The domaine works across several Côte de Nuits appellations, including Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, Clos-Vougeot and Richebourg. Its vineyard holdings include old parcels and highly regarded climats, with an emphasis on careful farming and an individual approach to each site.

Thibault Liger-Belair’s wines are built around detailed expressions of terroir, from regional and village bottlings through Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines. The estate is especially associated with Pinot Noir from the Côte de Nuits, combining depth and structure with the precision and site character of its vineyards.
