Domaine Roulot

Domaine Roulot is rooted in Meursault, with the Roulot family documented in the village from 1827. The estate’s modern shape was largely established by Guy Roulot from the late 1950s onward, and Jean-Marc Roulot has vinified at the domaine since 1989.

The domaine works about fifteen hectares, principally in Meursault. Organic principles have guided the vineyard work progressively since 1989, with biodynamic practices added in the early 2000s. In the cellar, fermentations take place in barrel with indigenous yeasts, and the wines are raised on their lees before a period in tank.

Meursault is the domaine’s unmistakable center, with separate climats treated as distinct voices rather than variations on a single house style — a philosophy that makes place the organizing idea of the estate.
