Château d’Yquem

Château d’Yquem is a historic Sauternes estate with more than four centuries of winegrowing history.

In the 1855 classification, Yquem received the unique rank of Premier Cru Supérieur, reflecting a rigorous approach centered on selective harvesting and noble rot.

Perched on the hills of Sauternes, the estate has around one hundred hectares of vineyards across a mosaic of soils, planted to Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc.
