Bodegas San Antonio Abad

Bodegas San Antonio Abad was founded in Villacañas, Toledo, in 1954, when a group of local growers joined together to create a cooperative winery. Their aim was to make and commercialize their own wines while placing greater emphasis on quality bottled production.

The winery is rooted in La Mancha, a broad, dry plateau marked by limestone-rich soils, strong continental conditions and long hours of sunshine. Its vineyards and wines reflect that landscape and the cooperative tradition that has shaped viticulture across the region.

Over the decades, Bodegas San Antonio Abad has combined that agricultural foundation with modern cellar techniques while continuing to work under the La Mancha appellation. Its identity remains closely tied to Villacañas, its grower community and the long winegrowing history of central Spain.
