Adegas Valmiñor

Adegas Valmiñor was founded in 1997 by Carlos Gómez Davila in O Rosal, the southernmost subzone of Rías Baixas. The winery sits just a few meters from the Miño River, where Galicia meets Portugal and the river approaches the Atlantic, giving the estate a distinctly coastal identity.

The vineyards are spread across sites including Catuxa, Estás, A Portela, Figueiró and Remesal, with soils ranging from sandy alluvial deposits and river stones to metamorphic schist and granite. Albariño is central to the estate, alongside other Galician varieties such as Loureiro, Treixadura, Caíño and Castañal.

Valmiñor’s identity is shaped by O Rosal’s Atlantic climate, varied soils and native Galician grapes, with vineyard character and freshness at the center of the winery’s approach.
